About Me
My arrival into the world of colours did not happen in a whim. It was a deliberate attempt from an early age. Ever since I picked up the brush I have relished the state of reverie while painting. Beyond the usual visual displays, I have discovered a bridge that allows me to connect to our world, to be able to understand and to be understood. As an artist I observe and listen to the sound of earth, the play of the seasons, the pain in the eyes, mourn the absence of sensitivity and gentleness. The things I see, the places I visit, the people I interact are the best source of inspiration. My paintings allow a passage to the world of definitive and basic aspect of Fine Arts.
While I enjoy the luxury of doing what I love, I am also learning each day. My attempt through Soul Shots is to connect to the subtleties of life that surrounds us everywhere, to show the richness and depth of a simple painting. As you will notice, all my paintings evoke a sense of undecorated and uncomplicated musings very characteristic of our natural surrounding. My compositions are in different mediums like Watercolour, Pencils, Oil, Pen & Ink, Pastels, Acrylic etc although I definitely enjoy Watercolour above all.
Keeping the essence of Art alive, I allow through my site a quick knowledge of the fundamentals of what goes behind the making of these paintings as the curious eyes and minds seek to know it.
